Rager Fencing and Lawn Care, along with SHB Painting, is inviting the public to celebrate their new location with a Christmas Open House on December 7.
The event will run from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the new shop, located at 416 Wing Avenue in Owensboro.
Serenity Ragers owns the businesses with her husband Cody and said the open house offers an opportunity for the community to see the updated space, which will now serve as a hub for their lawn care and fencing services.
J’s Good Grub will be on-site at the open house. Rager said a photographer will be available to take family Christmas photos for a small charge. She added that Santa might make a surprise appearance.
Light refreshments will be provided, and attendees can discuss project ideas for 2025. The Ragers want to educate the community about the business’s offerings and view examples of custom fencing and landscaping designs.
“We’re excited to show people where we’re located now,” Rager said. “This space allows us to have customers drop off payments, talk about ideas in person, and explore different styles of fencing and landscaping options. It’s a big step forward for us.”
Rager Fencing and Lawn Care has been serving the community since 2019, offering a range of services, including custom residential and commercial fencing—such as wood, chain link, vinyl, and aluminum – and lawn care services like residential and commercial mowing, landscaping, patios, and hardscaping.
In 2023, the Ragers expanded their offerings by adding SHB Painting, which specializes in both interior and exterior painting for residential and commercial projects, including new builds and repaints.
“We’re grateful for the community’s support over the years, and this new location will help us provide even better service,” Rager said.
The company has also made efforts to give back to the community, including equipment giveaways for local students and a $300 grocery giveaway currently running through their social media channels.
“Our open house is another way to connect with the community,” Rager said. “We want people to feel welcome and to know we’re here to help with their fencing, landscaping, and painting needs.”
