Impact100 Owensboro will award $221,000 in grants to local nonprofits in 2026, the organization announced Thursday. Its youth initiative, Impact100 NextGen, will distribute an additional $8,000.
The Impact100 funding will include two $100,000 grants, with the remaining $21,000 split among other finalists. With this year’s awards, Impact100 will have invested nearly $5 million into the community over its 21-year history.
“We continue to be amazed by the generosity and commitment of our members,” said Sarah Howard, president of Impact100 Owensboro. “We are so proud of that number, and proud of the members who joined us 21 years ago, as well as the large number of women who joined for the first time this year. We are excited to see the projects that our local nonprofits submit this year and look forward to learning more about what they have planned.”
Impact100 NextGen — a philanthropy group for teenage girls — is marking its 10th year. The program has contributed more than $75,000 to local organizations while providing members with leadership and community engagement experience.
“NextGen is a philanthropy organization for teenage girls that is part of Impact100 Owensboro,” said Beth Clements, chair of NextGen. “These members learn so much about the nonprofits in Owensboro, leadership skills, and working together for the common good. It’s amazing to see them realize that they can play a role in shaping their community’s future.”
Applications for the 2026 grant cycle are now being accepted through June 3. Local nonprofits are eligible to apply.
