A laid-back night of island-inspired music and storytelling is returning to Beaver Dam Amphitheater this summer. Ten-time CMA Musician of the Year Mac McAnally will headline the “Margaritas & Memories Tour” on Aug. 21 at The DAM, joined by special guest Scotty Emerick and longtime Coral Reefer Band percussionist Eric Darken.

The trio previously performed at the venue in 2024 in a show that coincided with the one-year anniversary of Jimmy Buffett’s passing. Organizers say the return is expected to draw fans from across the region once again.

“This show truly captures what The DAM is all about: exceptional music, unforgettable experiences, and fans coming together from across the region,” said Heath Eric, President and CEO of The Eric Group, which manages the venue. “We are honored to welcome them back, bringing even more of that signature Coral Reefer energy to the stage for what promises to be another unforgettable evening.”

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m., with the show beginning at 7 p.m.

The performance will feature a mix of songs, stories, and sing-alongs, highlighting music the artists have performed together around the world while celebrating what they describe as “the songlines of life.”

Eric said the event is expected to have a broader impact beyond the venue.

“We expect Parrotheads and music fans from all over the Midwest and beyond to travel in for this one,” he said. “These events have a real impact, filling hotels, restaurants, and local businesses, while creating memories that last a lifetime.”

Tickets will be available through a presale from 9 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on April 22, followed by a public on-sale at 9 a.m. April 23. Organizers noted that reserved tables sold quickly during the 2024 show and expect similar demand this year.

In addition to the music, the event will include themed drinks and a relaxed, tropical-style atmosphere designed to match the artists’ signature sound.

McAnally is a Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame member and a longtime collaborator of Jimmy Buffett, having spent nearly three decades as part of the Coral Reefer Band. He has written numerous No. 1 hits for artists including Alabama, Kenny Chesney, and Sawyer Brown.

Emerick is known for writing hits such as “Beer for My Horses,” “I Love This Bar,” and “As Good as I Once Was,” with credits spanning artists like Toby Keith, Willie Nelson, and George Strait. His work has earned multiple award nominations and contributed to millions of albums sold.

Darken, also a longtime member of Buffett’s band, is widely regarded as one of Nashville’s top percussionists and has performed on stages around the world.
