A second 7Brew drive-thru coffee stand is being planned in Owensboro, with the company confirming it hopes to open a new location in the Wesleyan Park Plaza area.
The new stand is proposed for Frederica Street and will be a standalone building near McDonald’s along Frederica Street, a spokesperson told Owensboro Times. It will not occupy space within the existing shopping center.
Like other 7Brew locations, the building will be prefabricated and installed after site work is completed.
“7Brew’s buildings are pre-fabricated, and this one will be the same,” the company said in a statement. “As construction on the site progresses, the building will be brought in and ‘dropped’ on-site by a large crane.”
The company said the site met its criteria for accessibility and efficient drive-thru service.
“7Brew prioritizes drive-thru speed, and this location will allow easy access to customers on their morning and afternoon commutes,” the company said.
The planned location comes about a year after 7 Brew opened its first Owensboro stand at 4930 Frederica Street.
“We’re very excited about the possibility of bringing 7Brew to the Owensboro community,” said Rem Eiler, director of development for 7 Brew Owensboro. “Our team is energized by the opportunity to share our mission of cultivating kindness through drinks and people.”
The company did not announce a timeline for construction or opening.
