Scooter’s Coffee — a national drive-thru coffee franchise — is opening its first Owensboro location this Monday. The building is a “standalone, drive-thru only kiosk.”
The building sits at 2085 East Parrish, across from The Springs Health Centre and between the strip center that houses McAlister’s Deli and the connected lots containing Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Shogun Bistro.
The Scooter’s menu includes an array of specialty espresso beverages, single-origin coffee, fruit smoothies, Red Bull Infusions, Cold Brew, baked-from-scratch pastries, and breakfast options. For more about their menu or business, click here.
As first reported by Owensboro Times in August, Scooter’s Coffee is planning two locations in Owensboro — the first at 2805 East Parrish Avenue. A spokesperson at the time said the second Owensboro location and the one in Henderson had yet to be determined, “but should begin construction within the next two years after locations are finalized,” according to the spokesperson.
There has been no update on the second Owensboro location.
Founded in 1998 by Don and Linda Eckles in Bellevue, Nebraska, Scooter’s Coffee roasts coffee beans at its headquarters in Omaha. The Scooter’s Coffee Brand Promise is “Amazing People, Amazing Drinks… Amazingly Fast!”
Scooter’s Coffee has nearly 300 stores operating across 17 states.
