Participating restaurants will compete for bragging rights for the ‘Best Burger’ by an independent group of judges. Throughout the week, the featured burgers will be randomly purchased from each participating restaurant and judges will score each experience based on numerous categories.

Everyone else also has a chance to win prizes. Customers who post a picture to Facebook or Instagram of them eating a burger at three or more participating restaurants — while also using the hashtags #owensboroburgerweek, #boroburgerweek and #locallove — will be entered into a prize drawing.

First place will receive a Mini Green Egg from Green River Appliance, and second place will receive a BBQ grilling meats package from Hillview Farms Meats.

Owensboro Burger Week is made possible with support from local and state sponsors including the Kentucky Beef Council, Independence Bank, Green River Appliance, and Hillview Farms Meats.
