Nearly 3 dozen restaurants are participating in the second annual Owensboro Burger Week, set to take place Tuesday through Saturday. Each of the 34 participating restaurants throughout the city and county will offer a signature burger for $7.
The complete list of all participating restaurants is below. Descriptions and pictures of the featured burgers can be found at owensboroburgerweek.com.
Participating restaurants will again compete for “Best Burger” bragging rights as determined by an independent group of judges. The group will blindly judge all the burgers from each of the participating restaurants throughout the week without knowing which restaurant the burger came from. Last year’s winner was O’Bryan’s Bar & Grill.
Burger Week will also have a contest featuring a prize for everyone who participates. Customers who use the hashtag #owensboroburgerweek and post a picture eating a burger at three or more participating restaurants throughout the week on Facebook or Instagram will be entered into a prize drawing.
First place will receive a Mini Green Egg Max from Green River Appliance, and second place will receive a barbecue grilling meat package from Hill View Farms Meats.
Burger Week is put on by Visit Owensboro in partnership with the City of Owensboro, the Kentucky Beef Council, Independence Bank, Hill View Farms Meats and Green River Appliance.
