Famed for its coffee, specialty drinks, and eclectic vibe, The Creme Coffee House is taking to the streets with a new coffee trailer. The menu will feature an abbreviated version of the in-store offerings, featuring specialty lattes, smoothies, teas, lemonades, breakfast and lunch sandwiches, as well as desserts.

Owner Brooklyn Patterson said they love their downtown location and were searching for ways to add convenience to their customers’ lives.

“Although our store location at 109 East Second Street is in a great location, we were receiving a lot of feedback that unless people had a reason to go downtown, they didn’t go,” Patterson said. “We thought, ‘let’s bring coffee to people and cut out the inconvenience.’”

Patterson said they have plans to serve Owensboro and neighboring cities and counties.

“We believe we have amazing coffee and food, and we want to make it as accessible as possible for people to enjoy,” she said. “We want to set up at businesses, colleges, fairs, neighborhoods, and weddings and events to bring our product to the customer.”

The downtown Creme location at 109 East 2nd Street will maintain its regular hours from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. with aspirations to have the trailer available to the public as often as possible. Interested patrons can book the trailer for a workday treat or a special event by calling the coffee house at 270-683-7787 or reaching out on social media.

“We want to serve Owensboro as much as possible,” Patterson said. “We are a small business that gives back to our community in many ways. Supporting the Creme is supporting this community, and we are so excited about this new addition.”
