Y-Not Pizza and Wings is closing permanently this Friday, the business has announced via social media. According to the announcement, the closure is due to lack of business and the cost of food.

The post reads as follows:

This is unfortunate to post, but at 8pm on Friday 9/30, Y-Not will be closing its doors permanently. This closure is due to lack of business and unable to negotiate lower food costs. We want to thank all of those that have supported us and our amazing staff that has done a great job for us. We will still be having the last bike night of the year on Thursday. Staff that does not already have other jobs lined up, I will be assisting them with that. Again thanks everyone and come get some Y-Not this week while you still can.

Y-Not is located at 2710 KY 144 in the old Dianne’s Bakery location.

The closure comes almost exactly a year after the business was bought by Jared and Kelly Strehl along with business partners Robert and Jennifer Wright, who assumed ownership of Y-Not Pizza and Wings on Oct. 6, 2021. The group tried to rebrand the business, including introducing new menu items and expanding the hours.
