The grand opening for Owensboro’s Crumbl Cookies is a week away. Crumbl, which offers a rotating menu of four specialty cookies each week in addition to a pair of award-winning staples, is located in the Gateway Commons area.
The two-day grand opening is set for Nov. 18-19. Crumbl is located at 3250 Hayden Road, Suite 2, between Limestone Bank and Tropical Smoothie.
There won’t be any seating inside or a drive-thru. However, the location will offer mobile ordering, curbside pickup, and DoorDash. They also offer catering, which requires a minimum of 50 cookies and ordering 24 hours in advance.
Crumbl grew in fame with their weekly rotating menu of cookies made from 200+ flavors. These cookies can be purchased in store, locally delivered, or shipped nationwide.
They always offer their Milk Chocolate Chip (served warm) and Classic Pink Sugar (served chilled) cookies. Sometimes there is also a “mystery” cookie.
“It gets the customers excited because every Sunday the new weekly flavors come out,” said Shelby Crabtree, shift leader at the Owensboro location. “It’s fun to anticipate what flavors there are going to be. It’s just something really fun and unique.”
Crabtree is excited for Crumbl to finally open next week.
“I did training in Bowling Green, and it was really fun there,” she said. “I really enjoyed making the cookies and talking to customers and having a good interaction, especially about cookies. Who doesn’t love cookies? We’re expecting to be pretty busy, which I’m excited about because I love working with people.”
Store and delivery hours will be Monday-Thursday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., with the hours extending until midnight on Friday-Saturday. They will be closed on Sundays.
