The Peach Cobbler Factory — which specializes in cobblers, banana pudding, and cinnamon rolls — is still coming to Owensboro, but there have been some bumps in the road resulting in a delayed opening. It will be taking over the former Baskin-Robbins location off KY 54, which closed at the start of October.

Franchisee Owner Jeremy Luckett initially hoped to open The Peach Cobbler Factory (which will be located at 3245 Mt Moriah Ave Suite 1) by January 2023. Now, Luckett said he still isn’t sure when he can expect to open due to some delays from the contractors. A lot of the issues, he said, stem from supply chain issues.

“Everything’s just taking [longer than expected]. I mean even getting plans back from the architect took weeks longer than it should have,” Luckett said.

Nonetheless, he said he is still excited to bring the store to Owensboro and has seen some support already.

Since making the announcement they were opening, Luckett said the company has added new items to the menu and the brand has grown to even develop an app.

“Once the store is up and going, people will be able to order from the app as well. There are some benefits to using the app. You get a product on your birthday, and if you share it on social media, then that can save you some money on buying products in the store,” Luckett said.

The Peach Cobbler Factory is a sweet dessert restaurant that sells cobblers, cinnamon rolls and banana pudding of several varieties. The cobblers come in peach, honey apple, cherry, blackberry, strawberry, cinnamon peach pecan, and several others.
