An armed robbery occurred at Discount Liquors, located at 3101 Alvey Park Drive East around 10:33 p.m on Wednesday, August 8.
The clerk who was working was assaulted by a Black or Hispanic man, who demanded money before fleeing the scene.
According to the Owensboro Police Department, an undisclosed amount of money was taken, and the victim suffered only minor injuries.
Detectives are investigating, and anyone with information should contact OPD at 270-687-8888 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 270-687-8484.
