The victim has been identified as 57-year-old Steven Peak of Owensboro. According to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, Peak has been discharged. Mary Stephens, 54, of Owensboro has been charged with assault in the first degree (domestic violence) in this case.
On Friday, at approximately 6:40 p.m. Friday, the Owensboro Police Department responded to the 1800 Block of Chesterfield Drive on a report of a male who had been stabbed. The male victim was transported to the Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
