On Wednesday, Jan. 9, at approximately 08:08 a.m., the Owensboro Police Department was dispatched to an injury accident at the intersection of J.R. Miller Boulevard and East 9th Street involving two vehicles.
A passenger in one of the vehicles, 60-year-old Jerry Ross of Owensboro, was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital by ambulance.
Ross has since died from his injuries.
