Owensboro Police Department Public Information Officer Andrew Boggess confirmed the bridge has been reopened.
Owensboro Police Department Public Information Officer Andrew Boggess confirmed that the Blue Bridge in downtown Owensboro is closed at the request of Spencer County. Boggess said they did not advise as to the reason why the bridge needed to be closed, but he assumed it was due to an accident. It is undetermined how long the closure will last.
