According to a Owensboro Police Department news release, at approximately 3:18 a.m. Saturday, OPD responded to the Quality Quick at 1211 Breckenridge Street on a report of an armed robbery. The suspect, described as a white male wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, presented a weapon and demanded money before fleeing the business on foot.
Detectives are investigating and anyone with additional information can call OPD at 270-687-8888, or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers at 270-687-8484.
