Tornado warning issued for Daviess County

A tornado warning remains in effect until 1:15 p.m. CDT for southeastern Henderson, southwestern Daviess, northwestern McLean and northeastern Webster counties.

At 12:46 p.m. CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Beech Grove, or 12 miles northwest of Calhoun, moving northeast at 75 mph. A second storm with strong circulation on radar was just southwest of Dixon.

HAZARD…Tornado.
SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely. This dangerous storm will be near… St. Joseph around 1250 PM CDT.

Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include Moseleyville and Hebbardsville.
