OPD charges 15-year-old with armed robberies of two convenience stores

A 15-year-old juvenile has been charged in connection to two armed robberies in March.

A 15-year-old juvenile has been charged in connection to the armed robbery of Quality Quick at 1211 Breckenridge St. on March 16 as well as the armed robbery of Franey’s at 3511 Frederica Street on March 22, 2019.

In both robberies, the suspect, described as a white male wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, presented a knife and demanded money before fleeing the business on foot.
