DC takes 3rd, 5th in XC race; OCHS also competes

The Daviess County boys finished third and the girls took fifth on Saturday in the Greater Louisville Classic cross country race in Louisville.

Brady Terry (7th, 15:58.30) led the Panthers, whose other scoring runners were Alex Adams (17th, 16:23.40), Justin Shelton (36th, 16:50.70), Caleb Tidwell (57th, 17:09.30) and Bryson McGary (17:24.20).

For Owensboro Catholic, John Cason (16:15.70), Logan Jones (18:30.30) and Jude Neal (19:23.30) were the only boys in action.

In the girls’ race, Ainsley Taylor (18th, 19:29.50) paced the Lady Panthers. Other scoring runners were Emily Ann Roberts (23rd, 19:46.90), Destiny Miles (48th, 20:31.80), Lauren Howe (63rd, 20:46.60) and Emily Rempe (64th, 20:48.20).

Owensboro Catholic’s Katie Hayden (21:18.50) and Kate Weafer (22:52.50) also ran in the girls’ race.
