In a press conference Thursday afternoon, Matt Bevin conceded the Kentucky gubernatorial race to Democrat Andy Beshear, saying he will not contest the election. Bevin requested a statewide recanvass of votes, which was conducted Thursday, and results showed him still trailing Beshear.

As of 1:30 p.m., 110 of 120 Kentucky counties have submitted their recanvass and no changes were found that affected Bevin or Beshear. Daviess County’s recanvass showed no change from the Nov. 5 election results.
