Cape Air, the nation’s largest commuter airline, begins service between Owensboro and Nashville starting Jan. 22, 2020.

Cape Air will operate two daily, year-round flights between Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport (OWB) and Nashville International Airport (BNA). The airline will continue to offer one daily flight between OWB and St. Louis Lambert International Airport (STL).

“We are thrilled to be expanding our service in Owensboro by adding daily flights to one of the nation’s fastest-growing cities,” said Cape Air President Linda Markham. “We see great potential with this new route, and we look forward to providing Owensboro and the surrounding communities with direct access to Music City. The added service provides visitors and residents of Owensboro with greater access to the area and more options for connectivity on our major airline partners.”

Fares between OWB and BNA are from $29 each way. Fares between OWB and STL are $19 each way, including all taxes and fees. While service does not begin until January, reservations can be made now by visiting capeair.com or by calling 800-CAPE-AIR. Passengers can make reservations in person at the Cape Air City Ticket Office located inside the Hampton Inn & Suites on the Waterfront in downtown Owensboro.

“The Owensboro-Daviess County Regional Airport is pleased to continue growing our partnership with Cape Air by offering new service to Nashville,” said Owensboro- Daviess County Regional Airport Director Rob Barnett. “The Nashville route will provide more opportunities for connectivity and will open up more destinations to our customers.”
