Bar Louie has filed for bankruptcy, closing dozens of its gastrobars in the process, but managers at the Owensboro location said their restaurant won’t be affected and will remain open.

The Denver Post reported Monday that 38 of 134 Bar Louie locations closed recently across Colorado, Ohio, Wisconsin and Michigan.

A press release from the company said Bar Louie expects to emerge from bankruptcy within 90 days.

“Bar Louie is a profitable business focused on long-term growth with new investors,” said Tom Frickke, CEO of Bar Louie. “The sale through Chapter 11 will help us to focus on our profitable core locations and expand in areas that have a proven track record of success.”

Restaurant Business Online reports Bar Louie owes around $110 million to its creditors.
