Daviess County Public School announced a new Kids Safety First Initiative at a press conference Tuesday afternoon.
The program will increase the number of school resource officers from two to five. Adding an SRO at each of the DCPS middle schools. Currently, only Apollo and Daviess County high schools have SROs.
