Three arrested in meth bust

On Friday, the Owensboro Police Department worked a joint operation with the Drug Enforcement Administration and Kentucky State Police, charged three individuals in a three-month investigation. During the course of this investigation, approximately one pound of methamphetamine was seized.

The individuals charged in the investigation were:
1. George T. Quarles Jr., 45, Hopkinsville, two counts trafficking in methamphetamine
2. Steven M. Autry, 44, Owensboro, five counts trafficking in methamphetamine, trafficking in marijuana less than 8 ounces, and possession of drug paraphernalia
3. Christina R. Ray, 34, Owensboro, three counts trafficking in methamphetamine.

The three were arrested in the area of Frederica Street and Time Drive.
