Shufei Jiang was hard at work Wednesday remodeling the former Gangnam Korean BBQ restaurant on Kentucky 54.

Jiang will open Juicy Crab Seafood Restaurant at the permanently closed Korean restaurant at 3332 Villa Point.

Jiang, 46, is one of the owners at Chop Stick, which is a family-owned Chinese restaurant that’s also located on Kentucky 54.

He said on the menu is a variety of seafood such as crab, crawfish and lobster that will be seasoned for the American palate.

Jiang, who spoke minimal English, said he just wants everyone to know that Juicy Crab Seafood is coming soon.

He’s also looking to hire servers.

Jiang and his family have been living in Owensboro for more than five years. His family moved from Bowling Green.

Gangnam had announced last year that it was closing the Owensboro location for a few months.
