OHRH treating first COVID-19 patient

Owensboro Health Regional Hospital is treating their first patient with COVID-19, though it is a Muhlenberg County resident. 

The patient, whose age and gender were not released, is one of two Muhlenberg County residents who were recently diagnosed with the novel coronavirus. 

So far, Daviess County has 11 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and Henderson County has two, all of which are being isolated in their homes until they are well and unable to spread the virus.

Daviess County confirmed cases include:

  • 51-year-old male
  • 48-year-old male
  • 48-year-old female
  • 23-year-old female
  • 69-year-old male
  • 58-year-old female
  • 50-year-old female
  • 54-year-old male
  • 20-year-old female
  • 25-year-old male 
  • 50-year-old female

Henderson County has two confirmed cases:

  • 63-year-old female 
  • 61-year-old male

There have been no confirmed cases in McLean, Hancock or Ohio counties so far.
