Update (7:45 p.m.): The third suspect, 22-year-old Devin Dean of Owensboro, has been arrested and charged with first-degree robbery.
A 17-year-old male from Owensboro is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly robbing a victim at gunpoint on Saturday. An Owensboro woman also has multiple charges related to the incident, and a third suspect has charges pending while he is being treated at the hospital.
The juvenile faces the following charges: first-degree robbery, first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree fleeing, second-degree escape, criminal trespassing, and resisting arrest. He was transported from Daviess County Detention Center and is lodged at Warren County Regional Juvenile Detention Facility.
Caley Polston, 19, is facing charges of first-degree robbery (complicity) and tampering with physical evidence.
The third suspect is being treated at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
The incident occurred Saturday, when Daviess County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the 1900 block of San Anita Circle in reference to a robbery that had just occurred.
According to a report, the victim said two males entered his home asking to purchase various items. When he said he had nothing to sell, one of the suspects pulled out a gun and a round exited the chamber and landed on the floor. The round was later recovered by DCSO.
According to the report, the victim got into a physical altercation with one suspect but was able to get free and get in his vehicle. The victim stated a shot was fired and that the bullet struck his passenger side front fender.
Both suspects fled the scene with Polston, who was waiting in the car according to the report.
Detectives located all three suspects on Arlington Park Boulevard.
Upon arriving at the address, one suspect was found unconscious in his vehicle from suspected intoxicants according to officials. He was taken to OHRH for treatment.
The juvenile male suspect and Polston were arrested and charged.
The investigation is ongoing.
