Beginning today, the Daviess County Public Library is giving any patron in need a free hygiene kit.
The kits include two pairs of socks, a toothbrush and toothbrush cover, a tube of toothpaste, several cleansing towelettes, several disposable washcloths, facial and body soap, shampoo and body wash, antiperspirant, a comb, a shaving razor, and a pair of nail clippers.
For the women’s kit, feminine hygiene products are also included. There is a limit of one kit per person or two kits per vehicle.
To request a kit, stop by the library and call the curbside delivery number or stop a staff member delivering materials and let them know you need one.
The kits are available 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. while supplies last.
