Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari has announced they plan to open their gates June 14, though there will likely be some new guidelines and limitations in place.

Leah Koch, 4th-generation owner, said in an announcement on their website that Holiday World is committed to doing everything they can to keep the park as clean and as safe as possible.

“We’re going to have hand sanitizer readily available all over the park, and we may ask your patience while we sanitize our rides,” Koch wrote. “We’re even likely to limit park attendance while we figure out how to operate as safely as possible.”

The park had to delay their original opening day of May 2 indefinitely due to COVID-19 restrictions.

They are planning to open June 14 in accordance with Gov. Eric Holcomb’s Back on Track Indiana Plan.
