Kentucky State Police has released a new photo that shows a truck they believe was involved in the wreck which caused the Panther Creek bridge on KY 81 to be shut down.

The photo shows the truck in question driving east on KY 56 before the KY 81 roundabout. It shows the crane is upright prior to the bridge strike.

Witnesses said the truck’s crane was left up and according to KSP struck all the bridge support pillars.

Troopers believe the accident occurred on Monday between 2 p.m. and 2:55 p.m. Anyone in the area who had a propane tank removed or added around the time of the incident are asked to call KSP Post 16 at 270-826-3312.
