OPD: Man facing five counts of wanton endangerment after firearm incident

An Owensboro man has been charged with five counts of first-degree wanton endangerment after allegedly firing five rounds at a victim Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Owensboro Police Department, officers responded to the area of East Parrish Avenue and Hall Street on a report of a firearm discharge at approximately 12:28 p.m.

It was determined that Tyler R. English, 23, fired five rounds from a handgun at the victim during an argument. The victim was not injured during the incident. English was arrested and taken to the Daviess County Detention Center.
