The spray parks located at Panther Creek Park and Yellow Creek Park will open Thursday. Due to ongoing construction and the installation of new shade structures, Horse Fork Creek Park’s spray park will be opening at a later date.

The announcement was made Monday morning by Daviess County Fiscal Court and the Parks & Recreation department.

“Daviess County Fiscal Court supports responsible use of our parks and amenities and encourages everyone to follow CDC and state guidelines,” they said in a release.

The City of Owensboro announced last week that spray parks at Smothers, Legion and Kendall-Perkins parks would reopen this Friday.
