Beginning Monday, all visits to the Driver’s License Office will require an appointment according to the Daviess County Circuit Clerk’s Office.

“We understand that this is still a frustrating and busy time for everyone as it is for our office as well,” reads a Tuesday Facebook post from the Clerk’s office. “With that being said, the new Supreme Court order will require appointments when visiting the Driver’s License Office beginning on Monday, August 3, 2020.”

According the the Clerk’s Office appointments will be made on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, with Mondays and Fridays reserved for permit testing. Call 270-687-7225 to schedule an appointment.

“The mail-in form is mandatory as long as you meet the requirements. If you need to renew your CDL, have a change of address, name change, etc., you will need to make an appointment to come in,” the Facebook post reads.

In addition, the office does not administer road tests. Those inquiring about road tests will need to contact Kentucky State Police at 270-683-9932 on Mondays and Fridays, or visit their website at kentuckystatepolice.org

Remote application forms can be dropped off in the secure dropbox with payment, or mail the form in to:

Daviess County Circuit Clerk’s Office
100 E. 2nd Street
P.O. Box 277
Owensboro, KY 42303

All checks can be made payable to the Daviess Circuit Clerk.
