Ballot position for local races in General Election set after draw

The order that the names that will appear on the local ballot for the 2020 General Election has been set after a random draw Thursday afternoon at the Daviess County Courthouse. 

The draw determined the ballot position for candidates for Owensboro Mayor, Owensboro City Commissioner, Whitesville City Commissioner, Daviess County School Board (Districts 3 and 4), and Owensboro Public School Board.

The 2020 General Election will take place on Nov. 3. It has not yet been determined what the voting process will look like in terms of absentee voting, number of polling places, etc. More details are expected in the coming months.
