An Owensboro man has been arrested and charged with murder for a shooting homicide that occurred late Sunday night, according to the Owensboro Police Department.
Christopher N. Clements, 31, was arrested Thursday for the murder of 49-year-old Dustin Walker, also of Owensboro.
According to a report, OPD responded to the 000-100 block of Hanning Lane approximately 11:11 p.m. Sunday for a reported shooting. Officers located Walker inside the residence with a single gunshot wound to the abdomen.
The victim was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital, where he later died from his injuries according to the report.
