A total of 33 more cases of COVID-19 and 21 recoveries from the virus were confirmed Tuesday for the Green River District. The 13th coronavirus-related death in Daviess County was also reported.
As reported by Green River District Health Department:
- New cases by county: Daviess (9), Hancock (2), Henderson (10), Ohio (2), Union (6), Webster (4)
- New recoveries by county: Daviess (13), Henderson (4), Ohio (2), Webster (2)
- Total number of reported cases in the district: 2,224
- Total number of reported cases now recovered: 1,845 (83%)
- Total number of reported cases currently hospitalized: 20
- Total number of cases that have required hospitalization: 184 (8%)
- Total number of deaths in the district: 30
The county totals to date are:
- Daviess County – 994 cases, 854 recovered, 10 current hospitalizations, 76 ever hospitalized, 13 deaths
- Hancock County – 55 cases, 47 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 4 ever hospitalized
- Henderson County – 465 cases, 367 recovered, 3 current hospitalizations, 45 ever hospitalized, 4 deaths
- McLean County – 58 cases, 50 recovered, 0 current hospitalizations, 6 ever hospitalized, 1 death
- Ohio County – 419 cases, 361 recovered, 2 current hospitalizations, 29 ever hospitalized, 9 deaths
- Union County – 113 cases, 72 recovered, 4 current hospitalizations, 7 ever hospitalized, 1 death
- Webster County – 120 cases, 94 recovered, 1 current hospitalization, 15 ever hospitalized, 2 deaths

- Average age: 42
- Male: 48.2%
- Female: 51.8%

The cases reported by GRDHD have been investigated and confirmed locally. These cases are then reported to the Kentucky Department for Public Health. This process sometimes may result in lags between state and local reporting and some discrepancies from duplicate reports.
