The Owensboro Community & Technical College Surgical Technology program is hosting four virtual pre-admission conferences designed to give prospective students an overview of the program and demonstrations to simulate the lab experience.
Program graduates have earned a 100% first-time pass rate for seven consecutive years on the national certification licensure exam.
Conferences for the fall 2021 semester will be:
- Friday, March 5, 9:30 a.m.
- Thursday, March 18, 4 p.m.
- Wednesday, March 31, 1 p.m.
- Friday, April 16, 1:30 p.m.
All sessions will be held virtually and the links are provided on OCTC’s Facebook page, or those interested may contact program coordinator Zara Basham at [email protected] for the link.
Upon completion of the program, students are eligible to take the national professional certification licensure exam administered by National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA). The program has a limited number of seats available each year.
