Live on the Banks music series returns to Smothers Park starting Saturday

Live on the Banks returns this Saturday to Smothers Park in downtown Owensboro. The free outdoor concert series will showcase a variety of music groups from across the region every Saturday night from May 15 to Sept. 25. 

Live on the Banks will take place from 7-9 p.m. each Saturday at the River Overlook Stage, as well as the Allen Street Gazebo.

“We are excited to be able to kick off another season of Live on the Banks,” said Tim Ross, Director  of Public Events. “The series has continued to gain popularity over the years, making it a signature  summer event in Owensboro.” 

Organizers are asking visitors to follow CDC and state social distancing guidelines. Face masks are encouraged and it is asked that attendees keep at least six feet between others while enjoying the music.
