The Owensboro Police Department is investigating a Friday morning shooting that sent a 28-year-old male to the hospital with two gunshot wounds that are considered non-life-threatening.
According to a release, OPD responded to the 1800 block of E. 17th Street for a reported firearm discharge at approximately 12:57 a.m.
Officers located the victim, who was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.
