A 9-year-old female was transported Sunday evening to Norton Children’s Hospital in Lousiville after being found in Combest Pool not breathing, though injuries not believed to be life-threatening, according to the Owensboro Police Department.
According to a police report, OPD, American Medical Response and the Owensboro Fire Department all responded to the emergency after lifeguards observed the 9-year-old not breathing and applied CPR to the child.
The was transported to Owensboro Health Regional Hospital before being transferred to Norton’s for further evaluation.
