Green River District COVID-19 update — September 14

The Green River District Health Department reported 957 new confirmed COVID-19 infections and 6 coronavirus-related deaths on Tuesday — with 434 cases and 3 deaths in Daviess County. The newly reported cases were investigated between Friday and Monday.  

According to the GRDHD, 53.07% of Daviess Countians have been vaccinated.

The current 7-day average for new cases in the seven-county Green River District is 264 new cases per day.

GRDHD also reported new cases in the following counties: 50 in Hancock, 161 in Henderson, 37 in McLean, 162 in Ohio, 48 in Union, and 65 in Webster. COVID-19-related deaths were reported in McLean (1) and Ohio (2) counties.

As reported by Green River District Health Department, the seven-county district’s totals to date are:

  • Reported cases: 32,165 (14,652 for Daviess)
  • Currently hospitalized: 32 (19 for Daviess)
  • Ever hospitalized: 1,165 (473 for Daviess)
  • Deaths: 473 (221 for Daviess)
