Green River District COVID-19 update — October 12

The Green River District Health Department reported 360 new confirmed COVID-19 infections and 12 coronavirus-related deaths on Tuesday — with 192 cases and 6 deaths in Daviess County. The newly reported cases were investigated between Friday and Monday.  

According to the GRDHD, 55.21% of Daviess Countians have been vaccinated.

The current 7-day average is 94.7 new cases per day for the seven-county Green River District, and 40.2 for Daviess County.

As reported by Green River District Health Department, the seven-county district’s totals to date are:

  • Reported cases: 35,654 (16,189 for Daviess)
  • Currently hospitalized: 12 (7 for Daviess)
  • Ever hospitalized: 1,230 (504 for Daviess)
  • Deaths: 545 (249 for Daviess)
