The Green River District Health Department reported 277 new confirmed COVID-19 infections and 9 coronavirus-related deaths on Friday — with 104 cases and 5 deaths in Daviess County. The newly reported cases were investigated between Tuesday and Thursday.
According to the GRDHD, 55.32% of Daviess Countians have been vaccinated.
The current 7-day average is 91.1 new cases per day for the seven-county Green River District, and 42.6 for Daviess County.

- Currently hospitalized: 13 (7 for Daviess)
- Ever hospitalized: 1,234 (507 for Daviess)
