A truck truck caught fire in the middle of the eastbound lanes of the bypass early Monday afternoon, but no one was injured. Traffic was backed up starting near the New Hartford Road exit for about 45 minutes but both lanes are now open.
Officials are unsure what caused the truck to spin out and catch fire. No other vehicles were involved.
