Three people from Maceo and one from Beaver Dam are facing multiple charges related to meth and drug trafficking following an investigation by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.

Michael Gorham, 40 of Maceo; Heather Coy, 39 of Beaver Dam; Gregory Thomas, 50 of Maceo; and Beth Johnson, 52 of Maceo are each facing charges of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (2 grams or more of methamphetamine, first offense) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thomas and Johnson are also each facing an additional charge of trafficking in synthetic drugs (first offense).

At approximately 4:30 a.m. Saturday, DCSO deputies executed a search warrant in the 8200 block of Highway 1389 in reference to the investigation, according to reports.

Upon executing the search warrant, deputies located a large amount of suspected methamphetamine, scales, numerous plastic bags, and a large sum of currency, which are all consistent with trafficking.

In addition, deputies located multiple glass pipes containing suspected methamphetamine residue, an amount of suspected synthetic drugs, a small amount of suspected marijuana, and one firearm.

All four occupants of the residence were arrested and lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center.
