The Owensboro Sanitation Department recently completed its third and final pass of the annual loose-leaf vacuum collection through Owensboro. Vacuum leaf collection will continue by request through February 15.
Customers can request collection by calling CityAction at 270-687-4444 or the Sanitation Department at 270-687-8760. Requests for vacuum leaf collection received after February 15 will not be honored, as the leaf collection equipment will be stored for the season.
Bagged leaves can continue to be placed curbside for collection on the customer’s normally scheduled trash day. Limb collection and chipping operations will resume February 16.
