Four people are facing multiple drug trafficking charges after meth, syringes, 150 fentanyl pills and more were seized Friday at a home on Legion Park Drive, according to the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a release, DCSO executed a search warrant at the McDaniel residence in the 3000 block of Legion Park Drive, revealing evidence of trafficking in fentanyl and heroin.
“Methamphetamine, digital scales, monies, syringes (loaded and unloaded with fentanyl), 150 fentanyl pills, a firearm, and various drug paraphernalia was located,” according to DCSO.
The investigation is ongoing.
Heather Kanani Braden (age 37), Rex McDaniel (61), and Alex Jordan McDaniel (37) were charged and were lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center. Lorraine Blandford McDaniel (61) was charged but not lodged in DCDC due to health reasons.
Braden faces charges of:
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st Offense (Carfentanil/Fentanyl Derivatives)
- Trafficking in Controlled Substance, 1st Offense (Heroin)
- Possession of Controlled Substance – 1st Degree, 2nd Offense (Methamphetamine)
- Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess
Rex McDaniel faces charges of:
- Possession of Controlled Substance – 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Meth) (Firearm Enhanced)
- Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess (Firearm Enhanced)
- Possession of Marijuana (Firearm Enhanced)
Alex McDaniel faces charges of:
- Possession of Controlled Substance – 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
- Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess
- Possession of Controlled Substance – 1st Degree (Fentanyl)
- Bench Warrant – Failure to Pay Fines
- Fugitive Warrant
Lorraine McDaniel faces charges of:
- Possession of Controlled Substance – 1st Degree, 1st Offense (Methamphetamine)
- Drug Paraphernalia – Buy/Possess
- Possession of Marijuana
