Cousins Jason McGowan and Sawyer Hemsley opened the first Crumbl Cookies in Logan, Utah, in 2017. In just six years, they expanded to over 850 bakeries spanning all 50 states and Canada. Franchisees Michael and Candyce Crawley opened the Owensboro location in November of 2022.

Located in the Gateway Commons off of KY 54, the local store continues to experience massive growth.

“No matter how big the brand becomes, Crubl is a family-owned business and is proud to contribute to the livelihoods of its thousands of franchise partners, managers, and bakers,” Michael Crawley said. “With each new bakery, Crumbl will strive harder than ever to fulfill its mission of bringing friends and family together over a box of the best cookies in the world.”

The weekly rotating menu consists of six cookies with a milk chocolate chip or semi-sweet chocolate chip cookies every week. Bakers constantly add new flavors and update and improve current recipes.

“The brand focuses on developing unique and delicious cookies inspired by popular flavors, foods, and desserts of all kinds – from pies to cakes to candies and more,” he said. “Cookies are available for carry-out, delivery, and catering.”

Patrons can order catered cookies in a standard 4.5-inch size or a smaller 3-inch cookie. Crawley said cookies are great for weddings, baby showers, gender reveals, birthday parties, school events, office parties, and more.

They also take pride in their iconic pink packaging, designed to perfectly accommodate each cookie in a 4-pack, 6-pack, or 12-pack box.

“The unique shape, along with the brand’s signature pink coloring, make it recognizable and Instagrammable, perfect for posting that sweet Crumbl review, Boomerang, or photo on social media,” Crawley said.

He added that the community and the staff have played a pivotal role in their success and are ecstatic to be a part of the community.

“The Owensboro community has shown great support of Crumbl from the first day the store opened and has continued to be supportive,” he said. “Our manager Nicole has a great team that works together to bring Owensboro the best cookies day after day. We are grateful for their  hard work and dedication.”

Crumbl offers loyalty crumbs through its loyalty program. To register, enter a phone number in-store, online, or through its app. Customers earn one crumb for every qualifying dollar spent and one for every two dollars spent on catering.
