Early voting kicks off today, with the General Election on November 5. Depending on where you live, you could be voting for Owensboro’s next mayor and City Commission, members of the public school boards, or Whitesville’s City Commission, as well as a few other races. Here’s what to know, from where and when you can vote, to what the ballot will look like.

The sample ballot includes all races that may appear on a Daviess County ballot. The sample ballot indicates — using bold, all-caps text below the section — whether a specific race will appear on all ballots or only in certain precincts.

Early voting
Early Voting will take place only at the Owensboro Sportscenter from October 31-November 2 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. No excuse is necessary to participate. All registered voters may cast a ballot on these days.
Voting Centers
On Election Day, Novemeber 5, voters are able to vote at any of the below 14 polling locations. As in recent years, precincts are no longer used for voting in Daviess County. Voting centers will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
