It’s Election Day, and we’re excited to provide you with the most comprehensive live coverage of the local results tonight. Owensboro Times will be streaming live from our studio — complete with a desk anchor breaking down the votes on air as they come in. We also plan to bring you live reactions from some of the winning candidates as the races are called. Here’s a final reminder of where you can cast your vote, and be sure to follow OT tonight for real-time results.
Editor’s note: Some races on the ballot (such as U.S. President, U.S. Representative, State Representative – 14th District, Court of Appeals Judge), as well as the two State Constitutional Amendments, were open to voters across Kentucky. For those races/issues, OT is providing results on how Daviess County voted using our own reporters and providing statewide results using reporting by the Associated Press.
How to vote today
The sample ballot that can be viewed here includes all races that may appear on a ballot for a voter in Daviess County. However, not everyone will be able to vote for every race due to where voters live. The sample ballot indicates — using bold, all-caps text below each section — whether a specific race will appear on all ballots or only in certain precincts.
Voters are able to vote at any of the below 14 polling locations. As in recent years, precincts are no longer used for voting in Daviess County. Voting centers will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
